Nahal Amud Hike

Feb 28, 2020 | Hikes and Trails

This was a very pretty hike but the first part was heavily trafficked with teenage school children (we got there a little late in the afternoon). Like all other parks in the area, get there early to avoid the crowds.

We followed the red trail down to the Black Trail and followed the Black Trail until it intersected with the Blue Trail.

Red Trail

We continued on the Blue Trail until it intersected with the Black Trail. We took a left on the Black Trail and followed it back up the river until it crossed the river and intersection with the Red Trail.

At that point, we stayed to the right and continued on the Black Trail. This was the most enjoyable part of the hike as the terrain changed and we lost the crowds (who all turned left on the Red Trail to head back to the parking lot).

We continued on the black trail along the stream until it hit the Green trail. We took a left on the Green trail and headed back up the hill.

The Green Trail brought us back to the parking lot.
